Solomon Okiror

M&E Officer

Solomon Okiror is a passionate employee of Youth Empowerment To Act commonly known as YETA in Imvepi Refugee Settlement.

Solomon currently serves as a M&E Officer for the YETA. He is currently in pursuit of the following duties.

  • Executes comprehensive project monitoring, evaluation, and accountability functions, including needs assessments, baseline surveys, final evaluations, and data quality audits.
  • Leads deployment of baseline and end-line surveys, assessments, and evaluations in coordination with project teams and sector coordinators.
  • Supports data collection initiatives, including surveys and client feedback systems, to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Implements MEAL plans, revising data collection tools, managing online data processes, conducting quality checks, and updating data visualizations with the Project Manager.
  • Facilitates stakeholder engagement and positive relations with partner organizations, local authorities, and humanitarian actors.
  • Designing and oversees work plans, budgets, M&E plans, and performance frameworks to ensure project alignment and effectiveness.
  • Monitors program activity implementation to ensure compliance with objectives, work plans, budgets, and anticipated outcomes.
  • Identify and share client feedback to enhance service quality and project results.
  • Leads re-alignment of concept notes, report writing, and data capture to track project outcomes aligned with the results framework.
  • Develops and maintains robust database backup and filing systems for program data integrity.
  • Supports research initiatives to generate valuable insights for program improvement, expansion, and sustainability.
  • Assists in documenting and sharing lessons learned and best practices for project enhancement.
  • Participates in organizational fundraising efforts through proposal writing.
  • Ensures accountability of program results to project stakeholders.
