Peace Building Initiative through;

  • Community dialogues on key issues arising in the community, i.e., Conflicts on Rental land for cultivation, stray animals, firewood, domestic violence, and Alcoholism.
  • Mediation of conflicts
  • Awareness creation on early marriages and teenage pregnancy
  • Awareness creation sessions on climate change and how it induces conflicts in the community.
  • Conducting meetings and discussions on positive parenting within their communities to tackle child abuse issues
  • Joint and individual counselling sessions with women and girls in the community.
  • Mentoring, coaching and facilitating the capacities of women, linking them for opportunities including their participation in coordination meetings and in leadership.

GBV

  • Awarenesses causes and effects of GBV
  • Economic recovery program (Skills training) for GBV survivors and those at risk
  • Identification and Referral of GBV cases for further management.
  • Male engagement on GBV prevention
  • Engagement of cultural and religious leaders to dismantle harmful cultural and social norms that hinder women and girls’ participation in economic, leadership and decision-making processes.
  • Engagement of women and girls at women/girls-friendly spaces through play to manage stress and mitigate early teenage pregnancies.
